FERNANDO ORRIOLS

FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Fernando Orriols is proficient in English and Spanish. His military academy background explains his devotion for structure, punctuality, and image. He’s a graduate from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Communications, which also include multiple internships in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations.

Fernando’s love for the hospitality industry led him to work for companies such as Treasure Tavern and Pirates Dinner Adventure, while simultaneously pursuing his passion for entertainment. He has worked for luxury brands like The Peabody, Norman's at The Ritz Carlton and alongside celebrity chefs Norman Van Aken and Emeril Lagasse.

"It all started one night while my fiancée, who happens to be an event planner, needed a few cocktail servers for an exclusive event. I was both intimidated and excited for the opportunity to finally put my passion for the hospitality industry into action" Fernando explains.

"Years beforehand, I referred service staff and entertainment for private events. With my 20 years of experience in food and beverage, and my fiancée’s expertise in fashion and event planning, I felt confident to start my own company."

Thus, RUNWAY CATERING was born.
